Building Owner and Developers

Reputation is everything

  • What if you could provide your tenants with the confidence that their space is going to be sound with minimal issues during their occupancy? Better yet, what if you can make adjustments prior to occupancy showing a proactive approach to their needs?

  • What type of press would occur if something happened during an “event” in which the fire protection system was needed but not function as intended?

    • The required NFPA testing that is completed on commercial buildings is the minimal that must be done per code, however does not provide an overall picture of system corrosion or potential failure points throughout the system.

    • Ultrasonic Testing(UT) of your fire protection system will give you an overall vision into your ENTIRE system. The UT process measures wall thickness at several points throughout your FP system to determine pipe wall thickness. A thinner than expected wall thickness means internal corrosion(or external) has occurred and is a potential failure point in the event of system use.

Capital Expenditure Delay

  • Do you have $200,000, $300,000, $500,000 or more lying around? Replacement of an entire FP system can be very expensive, but is there a better way?

    • If you get a report or direction that the entire FP system must be replaced, a first call can be to truVUE to come and do a full system evaluation. Through Ultrasonic Testing and our proprietary life expectancy algorithm we can provide you with a report showing locations in which the piping can remain in place, should be monitored or needs to be replaced.

    • The replacement of the failed components as detected by the FP Contractors testing can be completed immediately along with the creation of a mitigation plan to replace piping as needed throughout the facility saving a large upfront cost while giving time to plan capital expenditures accordingly.
